Akram Rosheidat, Ph.D
Akram serves as the Managing Partner, Principal, and Lead Architect at mrt, bringing a distinguished academic background and over three decades of expertise in architectural project management for diverse public and private clients.
He holds a Ph.D. from the College of Architecture and Environmental Design at Arizona State University, a Master of Architecture from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee. His extensive professional journey encompasses proficiency in various construction methods and is an expert in computer simulation studies crucial for achieving LEED credits.
Akram's leadership at mrt design is marked by a commitment to developing design solutions that strike a balance between initial construction costs and long-term operational efficiency, whether for new constructions or renovations of existing structures.
His depth of knowledge and dedication establish him as a pivotal figure at mrt design. As a Principal and Managing Partner, Akram also takes on administrative, financial, and marketing responsibilities as well.
Among his many responsibilities as a Principal and Managing Partner, Akram is also a Member of Phoenix Sister Cities – Past Chair and current secretary of the Prague Committee, member of the Saint Francis Xavier Building Aesthetics Committee, member of the Arizona Cultural Academy Architectural Committee, a Box Project Mentor at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, a past Adjunct Faculty at the ASU School of Sustainability, a lecturer at Jordan University of Science and Technology and one of the founders and past president of the Arizona VisionWeavers, a non-profit environmental organization.
