Omar brings over 15 years of extensive expertise spanning retail, office, educational, residential, athletic, and medical office buildings.

Before becoming a valued member of mrt, Omar earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and a Master of Science in Architecture Design and Energy Conservation from the University of Arizona.

Omar's architectural career have molded him into the resourceful, capable professional he is today. Besides serving as a Senior Project Manager, Omar excels in a variety of roles, demonstrating his versatility and expertise across multiple fields. One could consider him to be a “jack of all trades.”

Beyond his role with mrt, Omar serves as a Faculty Advisor for the Master of Science in Architecture-Design and Energy Conservation program at the University of Arizona's School of Architecture and Sustainable Built Environments.

In this capacity, Omar passionately guides and empowers students, encouraging them to develop sustainable and creative solutions that positively impact our built environment. His commitment to education, research and innovation continues to shape the future of architecture and sustainability practices.
